Was this done in Ren'Py?? For some reason my games I try to upload here corrupt a bunch of the images in the web distribution, how did you manage to upload such a high quality game??

This was indeed done in Renpy! If you mean the pixelation issues, that’s because Renpy turns progressive download on by default and you’ve gotta disable it before uploading.

I knew nothing going into this, and I learned a lot by the end, so I’d be happy to give any tips I can!

nice artwork and concept, but it's just not finished enough for newgrounds. the controls are also just odd and hard to remember, typical wasd controls would be much better.

I disagree about it not being ready for newgrounds. I think anything is ready for newgrounds as long as the creator can take some good critism, haha!

As for the controls, eeeeeh, I don't really like the WASD control idea for games. I want to experiment and see what else I can do before I settle on that. (I was thinking of maybe getting rid of the mouse controls and using the arrow and ZXC keys like some other games)

the window to play it is way too big and cropped weirdly, you cant tell what's going on, unfortunately. though from the previews the art looks very lovely.

You're right it s my first game and i didn't know a thing about exporting, i messed up in the canvas size i thought the bigger size the more resolution.lol
You can zoom out in your browser that will fix it.

so cool so far!! i love the way the music changes depending on which character you choose and the art and vibe of it all!! im excited to see the final product :D my only criticism would be that i think it deserves a mature rating rather than a teen one, though that might just be me!
